Unity Labyrinth

The Unity Labyrinth Experience

The Unity Labyrinth is a contemporary interpretation of an ancient tradition that spans more than 4,000 years. The labyrinth is more than just a beautiful structure; it’s a tool for enabling a very mindful and personal spiritual experience. Regardless of your faith or background, the labyrinth experience enables the releasing of all that no longer serves your best and highest good, and the receiving and coming into unity with the divine grace and good which does, at this time. Give our Unity Labyrinth a try and let us know how it blesses you, we would love to know!

— Clive deLaporte, Minister USCVB

This is the suggested way to experience the Unity Labyrinth. If it doesn’t resonate with you, use your prayerful intuition to find another way that may better serve your needs.

The Unity Labyrinth Experience: Release, Receive, and Return

Walking the labyrinth allows for focused contemplation on personal challenges, often leading to deep insights. The path inward and back fosters personal revelations. As you enter the labyrinth, focus on releasing what no longer serves you. At the center, remain open to receiving insights or messages. As you make your way out, carry the wisdom and clarity gained into your everyday life.
Practice good labyrinth etiquette. Be quiet and respectful of the labyrinth experience of others.

Walk In

Begin at the entrance, walk slowly to the center, and while walking invite the feeling of relaxation and releasing. Be heart-centered and present to the labyrinth and spiritual experience before you.

The Center

The center of the labyrinth is a time and place for rest and receiving. Be still and remain heart-centered. Concentrate on, receive, and rest in the awareness of oneness, union, and unity with the presence and power of the Divine.

Affirm the anointing and blessing of any Divine grace and good that you desire. Meditate on the affirmation of that blessing. See and feel its empowering affect on you and positive effect in your life. Hold the anointing affirmation in heart-centered silence until you feel complete in it.

Walk Out

When you feel ready, begin the walk out. Remain heart-centered and continue to be present to the labyrinth experience. Invite and hold a feeling of gratitude. At the exit, pause and take a moment to feel blessed and complete in your Unity Labyrinth experience.

Enjoy a Group Experience

We host a Labyrinth Meditation on the first Sunday monthly at 5 p.m., from Fall through Spring beginning October 5. Please bring a lawn chair or cushion to sit on. First-time participants are invited to contact the office for more detailed information.
